Description: When it was completed in 1957, the Annand Building contained the offices of its architect, Jack Annand, and the Equitable of Iowa Life Insurance Company. The property advertises Annand’s efficient skill at composing materials, window patterns, and volumes together on a small building. Sulawesi, a 2008 sculpture by Portland artist Lee Kelly, now hangs on the Roman brick-clad wall of the entrance tower, counterbalancing a grid of small square windows.
