Description: Example of “Marina” style of Safeway grocery stores, which were modeled after the company’s 1959 store on Marina Boulevard in San Francisco. Features typical of the store type include the sweeping curved roof, glazed front facade, and mosaic tile.

This example in the small town of Myrtle Point is longer in use as a Safeway but retains a commercial occupant.
